•Pray: Before you start discipling others, you need to first spend time praying for those who you will be discipling (Luke 6:12-13).
•Love: We must lay down our wants, desires, time, and money to fully invest in the lives of others God has put before us so that they can experience love (John 13:34-35).
•Building Relationships: When you want to build relationships, you need to put other’s need before your own (Philippians 2:4).
•Leading By Example: Although Jesus was God in the flesh, He humble Himself and served other people, so that His disciples could see how to follow His example (John13:14-15).

•Genealogy is very important in the Scriptures. In the Book of Matthew Chapter 1, depicts the genealogy of Christ starts with Abraham and ends with David.
•The three major religions of the world ALL claim to be descendants of Abraham. Jews call Abraham “Father Abraham”, Christians call Abraham, “Father of Faith, and Muslims, call Abraham the “Imam of the Nations”.
•Genealogy in the Bible determined who could serve in certain roles. For example, only the Levites from the tribe of Levi could work in the temple. Only the descendants of Aaron could become High Priest.
In the New Testament, I Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
•WE ARE ABRAHAM’S SEED—ABRAHAM THE INTERCESSOR
•Galatians 3:29 “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” We as Christian’s have the DNA of our Father of Faith, who is Abraham. Prayer is an activation of our faith.
•The first intercessory prayer was prayed by Abraham on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 18:20-33. Abraham stood in the gap for the righteous people of Sodom and Gomorrah. He started at 50 people, then 45, 40,30,20, and 10. As a result, because we have Abraham’s spiritual DNA, as believers in Christ, we have intercession in our spiritual genetic makeup.
•Psalms 139: 13-16 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
•Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I sanctified you; I appointed you as a prophet of the nations.
•Here we see that God has a plan for us and has created our spiritual DNA from the time even before we are born.
•SPIRITUAL ACTIVIATION THROUGH THE LAYING ON OF HANDS
•When we are born again those spiritual deposits are activated, often through the laying on of hands.
•1 Timothy 1:5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

•Purpose of Intercession | Prayers That Avail Much
•2 Corinthians 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge al disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
•Fighting in the fleshly realm
•Fighting in the spiritual realm
•After your spirit is released and freed then you can see matters in the realm of the spirit.
•Every time a believer overcomes Satan, his spirit becomes stronger and he gains ground.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
•We need to exercise our spiritual muscles constantly. After we have gone through many trials and tests, He will enable us to fight for others effectively. Every fight strengthens our inner man. Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.
•Romans 8:37 We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
•I Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
•Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in intercession, pray fervently in that particular area.
•Principalities: (Generals) The Greek Word for “principalities” arche (#746) means chief or ruler. Some scholars say this refers to the Fallen Angels that were cast out with Lucifer. (Rev 12:4,9) These are the most powerful and are most likely in the command structure the top generals over a country. Their objective would be to give orders to the next in command the powers. Understand that these fallen angels hate Man just as Lucifer does and are working to wreak havoc and destroy every human they can. The main objective as 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4 states is to keep as many as they can from the truth and accepting Christ as Lord and savior. Just as the leaders in human military, it is the duty of these principalities to plot strategies and position the Troops (powers and spiritual wickedness) in a particular area.
•Powers: (Officers) The word powers is the Greek noun (#1849) “exousia” and means one who possesses authority or influence. It is used in Ephesians 6:12 to represent the angelic or demonic authorities that operate in the spirit realm.
Using the phrase “principalities and powers,” Paul is telling us that there is a structure in satan’s kingdom (yes satan has a kingdom or thinks he does) where fallen angels, evil spirits, and demons are ranked one above the other, again just like human military, according to their power and authority. These fallen angels have influence over a State, Province, or Territory in a Country and must be dealt with to open up the Gospel in those areas.
•Rulers of the Darkness: (Enlisted) The last group mentioned is “spiritual wickedness” (or could be translated wicked spirits) in high places. The High Places is translated from the Greek (#2032) “epouranios” and refers to the dwelling place of God as well as the abode of angels and evil spirits. Vine’s dictionary says “epouranios”, also translated “heavenly places”, refers to the sphere of activity or existence that is above, in contrast to that of the earth.
Most of the commentaries state that the Spiritual Wickedness is describing Demons, Devils or Evil Spirits.
